Bent metallocene compounds

Bent sandwich compounds can occur with a variety of electron counts and stereochemistries. According to this model when the metal is electron deficiency, has less than 18 electrons, interactions with lone pairs or agostic C-H groups on the ligands occur satisfying the 18 electron rule.
