It is always interesting to see where web traffic to ChemTube3D.com is coming from. In April 2025 a landmark was reached as the largest referrer was ChatGPT with over a thousand referrals! This must mean ChatGPT is repurposing content from this site in the responses it gives to users. Based on earlier observations, it is probably not using the graphical content but rather concentrating on the text which it delivers with confidence.
The next most popular route was via Google search (not surprising) with Bing(China) next because Google is blocked in China. Virtual learning environments in universities also feature with the University of New England, South Dakota Public Universities and University of Queensland providing large numbers of visitors.
Other international search engines including Yahoo, Yandex (the Russian search engine) also feature. While instructors using Google classroom and Oxford University Press textbooks contribute a significant number of referrals.
